The Downtown Arts District, Inc. (DAD) was created in 2000 to promote art, local artists and the economic development of the downtown area in the City of Orlando. The arts are a powerful economic development tool and DAD’s mission is to create a healthy, vibrant, sustainable world-class arts district.

The Downtown Arts District follows the same geographical boundaries as the City of Orlando’s Community Re-development Area.
